en route
--- is a collection of voices, exploring and illustrating how language and image can be used to shape, mould and frame our perception of another.
Responding to the language and images being used to describe those seeking refuge as they travel to and across Europe, en route analyses and reflects on how this narrative is constructed and told.
This book consists of found and edited material, bringing together different voices to explore these current narratives, moving between news articles, speeches from politicians, photographs and stepping back with voices from Frantz Fanon, bell hooks, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Kayo Chingonyi, amongst others.
